Set against the backdrop of the Argentinian Civil War, Ed and Ruth Silvoso dared to believe God would not only reach their city with the Gospel of Christ but use them to disciple nations. As their church began to grow, he wrote Prayer Evangelism to explain that it wasn’t the preacher or the programs that brought fruit, but the Ekklesia, the Church, that was equipped to take prayer everywhere.
These marketplace ministers started to see such success that Ed Silvoso wrote Transformation to establish the five pivotal paradigms and the right finish line: to disciple nations, not just individuals.
In His book That None Should Perish, Ed SIlvoso and his team went to a city called Resistencia and saw God break in with the light of the Gospel that resulted in the complete transformation of a city.
As they moved deeper into evangelism and city transformation, they ran into a lot of people who were doing ministry but didn’t feel legitimized because they were doing it outside the four walls of the church. This is why he wrote Anointed for Business.
Because prayer is the driving force behind our ministry, God gives a cautionary word to husbands. If we don’t treat our wives with the dignity they deserve, our prayers will be hindered. Ed wrote Women God’s Secret Weapon to tell.
As the movement saw classrooms, courtrooms and businesses dedicated to God, it dawned on Ed that these looked like churches. That’s why he wrote Ekklesia: Rediscovering God’s Instrument for Global Transformation.
